Dr. Anthony M Auriemma, MD, JD

Medical Director

Anthony M Auriemma, MD, JDDr. Anthony Auriemma graduated Cum Laude from Hope College before receiving his Doctor of Medicine Degree at Loyola University, Chicago. Dr. Auriemma completed a residency in Family Medicine at Hinsdale Hospital where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Anthony Auriemma is Board Certified in Family Practice Care. He is on staff at both Hinsdale and LaGrange Hospitals.

Dr. Auriemma has received specialized training in Bariatric Medicine from the American Society of Bariatric Medicine. Dr. Auriemma also holds a Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School where he graduated Cum Laude. Dr. Auriemma is dedicated to helping people lose weight in order to improve their health and enhance their quality of life.

Aileen M. Waldschmidt MS, RD, LDN

Program Director and Licensed Dietitian

 

Aileen Waldschmidt, MS, RD, LDN

Aileen Waldschmidt is a licensed, registered dietitian with over 16 years of experience in weight management therapy. Aileen received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana and her Master's degree in Dietetics from Eastern Illinois University. As Director of Nutrition Services at Mile Square Health Center, University of Illinois Hospital, she spearheaded the Weight Management Support Group and the Diabetes Awareness Program. As Clinic Coordinator of Hinsdale Health and Nutrition, Program Director of Oak Brook Health and Nutrition, and Interim Program Director of St. Francis Weight Management Center, she managed, counseled, and facilitated various weight management programs including the OPTIFAST Program.

In addition to her professional license, Aileen holds a Fitness Specialist Certificate from the University of Illinois, and a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management from the American Dietetic Association. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association and the ADA Weight Management Practice Group.

Charlie Goehl, M.Ed.,

Charlie Goehl, M.EdThe author of several published articles on teaching and coaching, Professor Goehl has given numerous presentations related to best practices in teaching and coaching at local, state, national and international conferences.  In the past four years, he has received funding from several agencies to support his research and teaching interests.  Professor Goehl has a background as head baseball and football coach at Elmhurst College and teaches Sports Skills, Coaching Theory, and Personal Health.  He leads workshops on personal health-related topics, including nutrition, and also works as a personal trainer.
